Dallas went a little better
than the last few weeks. I made the main out of a very tough last chance
qualifier. I won over Damon Huffman, Isaiah
Johnson, JSR, Doug DeHaan, among others. I was pretty nervous going into
the LCQ because of the amount of talent in it. I got a decent start and
moved
into the lead and tried to check out.
In the main, my bike had a mechanical problem on the opening lap and that was
pretty much the story of my main event. I just tried to finish the
race and get some points. I ended up 16th, which was good for 5 points.
I am planning on putting in another hard week of training and improving
on my
results at Salt Lake City.
