Jason Thomas On the Last Two Motos at Binghamton

Recapped By: Doug Hein
Binghamton is the 2nd to last national of the year. That
means several
things. First, every one is trying to put a good finish in at the end of
the
year. There is nothing to save yourself for so everyone goes for it.
For
me, I am trying to secure a deal for next year and a great finish would help
that situation. Binghamton wasn't it.
I finished 15th overall with 14-16 moto finishes. In the second moto, I
crashed in the first turn with Mike LaRocco and our bikes got stuck together.
After we got back up, I was waaaay behind the pack. I charged on
the super
rough track and never gave up. I steadily passed riders and managed 5
points. It wasn't an ideal moto, but I gave it all I had.
Steel City has always been good to me, so hopefully I can pull something off.
Talk to you later.
